The Charm of Yusuhara TownAs I would expect from the town called "Kumo-no-Ue" (above the clouds).the stars are beautiful on clear nights and you can enjoy stunning starry skies throughout the year..The forests, which cover 90% of the town's area, foster a rich ecosystem and during migration season, you can see many different species of birds. There is also a place called "therapy road"where you can easily get in touch with nature. It's a great town where life is always in touch with nature.

What's good about life with ReMORI?I'm having a great time with other members who are close to my age.

What‘s good about life with ReMORI?◎ There are many buildings designed by famous architect Kengo Kuma, including the town hall. These buildings create a fantasic atmosphere.
◎ There are fantastic coffee shops.
◎ Yusuhara Town is called "Kumo-no-Ue" (above the clouds)", because it's very high in the mountains. So the breezes are nice and cool which makes spending time in the town comfortable.
◎ Shikoku Karst is nearby. The view of mountains as far as the eye can see, along with the many windmills, is overwhelming!

MessageAlthough I moved to a new place where I had no connections, I was warmly welcomed by my neighbors, the town hall, ReMORI and forestry professionals. I was never anxious due to having no acquaintances.
I currently rent a traditional Japanese house (kominka) with newly renovated water facilities that look brand new.
Of course, there are many bugs in the area, but I think over time you will get used to them and forget they are even there.

Since starting my job in forestry
Commuting by train has changed to walking through the mountains.
You might think chainsaws are often used for this type of work, but we also often use hammers, choppers and hand saws.
I'm not used to using hand tools with power, so my palms ended up being the sorest muscles of them all after a day of work.
To those who are considering or interested in moving
For me, it was a forest experience tour in Yusuhara Town that inspired me to move here. Once you take action, things progress surprisingly smoothly. When you visit here, I will show you all of the charms of Yusuhara Town as a member of the cooperation team! We look forward to welcoming you!

Tsunoyama Kagura (a traditional Shinto dance and musical performance) is held here. The water is very clear.
